The original version of ‘Kantara’ was released in Kannada on 30 September 2022. It was then dubbed into Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Tulu languages. The Hindi version was released on 14 October 2022 and the Tulu version on 2 December 2022. This film not only won the title of becoming the biggest blockbuster of the year, but Rishabh Shetty also won the Best Actor Award at the 70th National Film Awards with his brilliant acting.
