Mumbai. Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer ‘The Buckingham Murders’, directed by Hansal Mehta, has not done anything special at the box office. Whereas the re-release of ‘Tumbbad’ released in 2018 has earned more than this. According to SaccNilk, Kareena’s film has collected Rs 1.15 crore earlier. Kareena’s film is facing competition from ‘Stree 2’ and ‘Goat: Greatest of All Time’ released a month ago and ‘Tumbbad’ and ‘Veer-Zaara’ re-released after years at the box office.

Soham Shah starrer ‘Tumbbad’ has collected a mere Rs 1.50 crore on the first day. It has collected Rs 25 lakh more than Kareena Kapoor Khan’s ‘The Buckingham Murders’. It is expected that the number of audience of ‘Tumbbad’ will increase on the weekend. This film was produced by Soham and Anand L Rai. It is expected that it will earn more than its original collection of Rs 10 crore in 2018.

No new Hindi film has been released at the Hindi box office. ‘Tumbbad’ will benefit from this and it can collect more than Rs 10 crore. On the other hand, ‘Buckingham Murders’ is a crime thriller, which attracts a specific audience. However, in the last few years, the craze for horror films has also increased among the people, so Tumbbad will overshadow it.
