Bajaj Auto is preparing to launch the updated model of its popular electric scooter Chetak on December 20. A new chassis frame will be used in the new EV, in which the battery pack will be placed under the floorboard.

This will provide more storage than the under seat storage of 22 litres. Apart from this, some changes can also be seen in the design of the e-scooter. The e-scooter is also expected to get more range with the new battery pack.

Apart from this, there will be no changes in the design of Bajaj’s new electric scooter Chetak and the price can also be kept around the existing model. Currently Bajaj Chetak is available in 3 variants with prices ranging from Rs 96,000 to Rs 1.29 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
