Skoda’s second generation SUV Kodiak will be launched in April. Brand director of Skoda Auto India, Petr Janeba, gave information about this. He told that it will be launched in two trims- sportline and Laurin and Clement (L&K). It will compete with cars like Toyota Fortuner, Volkswagen Tiguan.
Features: In the new Kodiak, there is more space in the cabin and the boot space is also higher than before. It will get a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 10.25-inch digital driver display and head-up display. Apart from this, ambient lighting, heating-cooling with powered front seats, panoramic sunroof, wireless charging will be available.

Size: The length of the SUV is now 4,758 mm, 61 mm more than its previous model. Its width has reduced to 1,864 mm and the height has also reduced to 1,659 mm. Wheelbase has not been changed, it is 2,971 mm.

engine: Second generation Kodiak will also get a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine like the earlier model. This engine generates 190 hp power and 320 Nm of torque. This engine has been paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission. It comes with Standard 4×4 DriveTrane.
Safety: Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) will be available in the SUV. Features such as lane-keeping assist and adaptive cruise control are available. This includes 9 airbags, an electronic stability program (ESP), Hill Hold Control and Hill Decent Assist.
