I decided to see Kush’s wedding
Sonakshi talked about this in an interview with Galata India. Sonakshi was asked if there was no pressure on her to have a Big Fat Indian Wedding? In response to this question, the actress said- ‘There was pressure but we were very clear on what kind of wedding we wanted and in fact, if you go back a few years. When my brother (Kush) got married, it was a grand wedding. There were about 5,000 to 8,000 people in every function of his wedding. The first thing I told my mother after this wedding was that my wedding will not be like this. Sonakshi’s brother Kush married Taruna Agarwal in the year 2015.

Some friends were upset with Sonakshi’s decision
Sonakshi further said, ‘So we were very particular and clear that we cannot get married with so much pomp and show. They said that this day comes once in our life and it is very special so we want to do it the way we want to do it. Sonakshi further told that there were some friends who were not happy with our decision. They wanted more functions like Huma, my friend and stylist Mohit. She told that Mohit had said, ‘I want you to change outfits five times in your wedding’, but I changed only once. In such a situation, he got angry.

There was no pressure on Zaheer, but…
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal had a registered marriage at their home. They held a wedding reception the same evening, which was attended by many celebrities.
