Bollywood actress Esha Deol has said that her father Dharmendra was not happy with her decision to enter films. He wanted Esha to get married and settle down by the age of 18. Esha had to convince him a lot about entering films.
In an interview, Isha said, Papa was a little old fashioned. He wanted me to get married at a young age and settle down. He did not want me to work in films. He was like a typical Punjabi father. He came from a place where he had seen women grow up in the same way that girls were married off at a young age. But I was not brought up like that.
