New Delhi: Director Subhash Ghai marked his presence at the muhurat of Swati Chauhan’s directed film ‘Saira Khan Case’. Actor and writer Karan Rajdan is associated with the film as a mentor. The film based on true events draws attention to the problems caused by triple talaq, child custody and four marriages in India. The film stars Rajneesh Duggal, Poonam Dubey, Rajiv Verma, Aradhana Sharma, Manmohan Tiwari and Karan Rajdan in the important role of Advocate Pathan.
Written by Swati Chauhan, the film brings Swati’s first-hand experience as the Chief Justice of the Family Court to the screen, adding legal and authenticity to such cases. Expressing his support for the film, Subhash Ghai said, ‘The Saira Khan Case’ brings forth an important conversation. This is a film that the audience will love and I am honored to be a part of this important moment.’
The shooting of the film has begun
The film is produced by Soul Films and designed by Lord Shiva Communications. Mayank Sharma has done the cinematography. Megha Parashar is its costume designer and Abhishek Bose is its art director. Harshvir has created its songs. The lyrics of the songs are written by Shweta Raj. The film’s muhurat took place on September 15, after which two days of shooting took place. The 30-day schedule will begin on October 1 in Bhopal. The film is produced by Salim Lalani and Nizar Lalani, Swati Chauhan, Shamshu Pirani, Nimesh Patel and Satish Bhanushali.
