New Delhi. Famous Bollywood playback singer Asha Bhosle recently shared her concerns about the young generation’s attitude towards modern relationships and marriage. During a conversation with spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravishankar, Asha questioned why the young generation does not try to save their marriage and directly goes for divorce? Why do young people nowadays give up so quickly? Sri Sri Ravishankar tried to answer these questions of Asha and tried to explain why this is happening.
During this time, Asha Bhosle also shared her bitter experiences of marriage. During this time, she also tried to explain that there were problems in relationships earlier also. But the only solution to them was not divorce.

Asha said, ‘I have also faced many problems in my life. In the midst of such problems, I used to go to my mother’s house with my three children, but never thought of divorcing my husband. However, nowadays, I keep hearing news of someone’s divorce every month. Why is this happening, Gurudev?’
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar told the reason
Responding to Asha’s question, Sri Sri Ravishankar said, ‘You kept everyone happy with your songs. You had faith in God. You have the strength to bear the problems and deal with them. But, people of today do not have the strength to bear the problems.’
‘There is no love left between people anymore, they get bored’
Asha Di further said, ‘I am 90 years old. I have seen many couples in these 90 years. But I have never seen them taking such extreme steps on small issues like today’s generation. I think that the love between people nowadays ends very quickly. They get bored of each other. Maybe this is the reason why divorce cases are increasing. On this, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar agreed and said that nowadays there is less love and more attraction between people.
‘Nowadays women consider having children a burden’
The show also reflected on women’s right to have children or not. She shared how she balanced her career as a playback singer with raising her three children, despite her busy schedule. She said, ‘Nowadays women consider having children a burden. I started working as a playback singer at the age of 10. During this time I had three children, raised them, married them and now I have grandchildren. I successfully and single-handedly handled all the responsibilities even without my husband. I did all this when I was a busy professional, working day and night. Still, I took care of my children, their education.
Asha has married twice
Let us tell you that Asha married 31-year-old Ganpatrao Bhosle at the age of 16. After this marriage, Asha gave birth to three children and then broke the relationship by divorcing Ganpatrao Bhosle in 1960. After this, in the year 1980, Asha married music director and actor RD Burman and remained with him till his death.
