New Delhi. The career of famous TV actor Rajesh Kumar has been full of ups and downs. During his struggling days, he had incurred a debt of more than Rs 1.5 crore, due to which he had to sell even his vegetables. Rajesh himself has revealed his days of struggle in his recent interview.
Rajesh Kumar has played all types of characters in his career. He has also made the audience laugh a lot with his comic style. Especially after playing the character of Rosesh in Sara Bhai vs Sara Bhai, he became very famous among the fans. When he thought of becoming a farmer, he had to face a lot of difficulties. In an interview given to Siddharth Kanan, he has expressed the pain of his days of struggle. He told that even his friends did not support him during his bad times.
Revealed in latest interview
In his recent interview with Siddharth Kanan, Rajesh Kumar revealed, ‘Time is never the same. There was a time when I had a debt of more than Rs 1.5 crore, this was the time when I had decided to become a farmer. My friends and family helped me in this journey throughout the year. Which was the most difficult time of my life. I had to answer to the people who lent me money. My family, farmers and my wife. But when the startup did not work, he had to sell even vegetables.
Rejected in Shark Tank India
Rajesh Kumar further said in his conversation, I had also tried in Shark Tank India. I also passed two out of three rounds. In that you also have to submit videos, I thought who knows I might get a favor because I am from the industry, there is an actor who is also a businessman and is talking about agriculture. My presentation was in Kolkata and it was completed within a day. My father had paid for the tickets. But during the audition, he was told that the director has a condition that you will have to shave your head, for which we will give you another lakh and he did so.
Sold vegetables outside his own son’s school
Expressing his pain, Rajesh said that when his startup did not work, he suffered a lot. He even had to sell vegetables to earn money. He told that he had started setting up a vegetable shop outside his own son’s school. His son also used to request his teachers to buy vegetables.
