New Delhi. Aamir Khan’s ex-wife Reena Dutta is in grief. His father passed away. He breathed his last on Wednesday. In this difficult time, Aamir Khan was seen standing with ex-wife Reena Dutta. Along with the actor, his old mother also came to meet Reena Dutta.
According to media reports, Reena Dutta’s father used to be a senior officer in Air India. There is mourning in the industry due to the death of the veteran writer’s father. Let us tell you, Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta got married on 18 April 1986. Reena also did a small role in Aamir’s debut film ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’. The couple has two children – Ira Khan and Junaid Khan.
Junaid made his debut with the streaming film ‘Maharaj’, while Ira has remained away from acting till now. Ira is married to her longtime lover Nupur Shikhare, who was Aamir’s fitness trainer. Reena briefly worked with Aamir in his career when she worked as an executive producer on Aamir’s Oscar-nominated film ‘Lagaan’. In December 2002, Aamir filed for divorce and took custody of both the children.
On 28 December 2005, Aamir married Kiran Rao, who was an assistant director during the shooting of ‘Lagaan’. On 5 December 2011, their son Azad Rao Khan was born, who was born through surrogacy.
