New Delhi. Javed Akhtar is one of the most veteran writers of Bollywood. Together with Salim Khan, he has written many blockbuster films like ‘Deewar’, ‘Sholay’, ‘Kala Patthar’, ‘Sita Aur Geeta’, ‘Dostana’, ‘Haathi Mere Sathi’, ‘Zanjeer’, but the children of the writer and lyricist There is no trust in them. Recently, Javed Akhtar told that his children reject his dialogues, calling them old fashioned.

In an interview given to Sapna Verma, Javed Akhtar told that his children Zoya and Farhan find the lines written by him outdated and old fashioned. He says, ‘It is quite easy for him to become my boss. Others hesitate because I am senior and veteran, but my children do not care about it at all. Farhan doesn’t fight with me, he just rejects my lines. Whereas Zoya fights with me.

He further says, ‘The first language of both of them is English. He also dreams in English only. My languages ​​are Urdu and Hindi, the language in which they make films, I understand them better than them. But still both of them call me outdated and traditional. In the last 25 years, I have written only one script (for Lakshya) for Farhan. I had written a few dialogues for Zoya’s debut film ‘Luck by Chance’.

Zoya did not give her father a chance again
Javed Akhtar further says, ‘Zoya had initially told me that I understood the characters better than her and she had asked me to write some dialogues, but then she never said it again.’ He further told that Zoya had asked him to write the dog’s dialogue in the film ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’.

She had told her father that no one could understand the emotions of the dog in the film better than her and that is why in the film ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’, Zoya Akhtar had her father Javed write only the dog’s dialogues.
