Kajol told Kapil Sharma that false rumors of her death had been circulating long before the era of social media. She says that once someone called her mother Tanuja and told her the news of her death. The actress said that someone had told her mother that her plane had crashed.

According to Kajol, there were no phones or social media in those days due to which her mother used to wait. The actress says, ‘This has happened many times. This has been happening since before social media. Every 5-10 years the news of my death comes out. Someone called my mother and said that my plane has crashed. She used to get very upset when there was no phone call at that time.

Kajol says that whenever there is any strange news about her, she does not even need to Google it. Even before they can Google, their acquaintances send them the news and ask what is happening. Kajol told that just some time ago a video containing the news of her death had gone viral and she has become very upset by all these things.
