New Delhi. A sad news is coming from the cinema industry. Veteran Bengali actor and playwright Manoj Mitra has left this world. He was 86 years old. According to the information, he breathed his last today. He was struggling with age related problems for the last few days. He breathed his last in a hospital in Salt Lake, Kolkata. After learning about his demise, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also expressed her condolences through her X (formerly Twitter) handle.
Manoj Mitra’s famous films include ‘Dattak’, ‘Damu’, ‘Wheel Chair’, ‘Maiz Didi’, ‘Rin Mukti’, ‘Teen Murti’, ‘Prem by Chance’, ‘Bhalobaser Nek Naam’, ‘Uma’ and Includes ‘Sudden Rain’. In his career, he worked with famous and acclaimed directors like Buddhadeb Dasgupta, Tarun Majumdar, Basu Chatterjee and Gautam Ghosh.
