The father had spent Rs 38 crores to launch his son. But the film proved to be a flop. Kumar, who was about to give a hit film with Bobby Deol and Saif Ali Khan, could not save his own son’s career.
Girish started his career with the film of South and Bollywood actress Shruti Haasan. Shruti was seen opposite Girish in this film. Despite being from a film background, Girish failed to win the hearts of people. However, even the producer father himself could not save his son’s sinking career.
Career limited to only 2 films
In the year 2013, producer Kumar S Taurani had launched Girish Kumar as a hero to brighten the fortunes of his son. In the film ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya’, he was seen romancing Shruti Haasan in the role of a bubbly boy. He won people’s hearts somewhere with his acting. People also liked his work in the film. But the film flopped miserably. The actor’s career was limited to only 2 films.
