Divyanka Tripathi’s new web series ‘The Magic of Shiri’ has been released recently. It depicts the extraordinary story of an ordinary housewife. This story is about a woman who leaves her dreams behind for her family, but circumstances give her a chance to live her passion again.
In a conversation with ‘Dainik Bhaskar’, Divyanka spoke openly about second chance, the unseen power of a housewife and her life experiences. Read some parts of this special conversation.
Childhood Dreams and Adventures
Divyanka Tripathi told that after marriage she got a chance to relive her childhood adventures. He said, ‘In childhood, I was very fond of adventure, but due to work, all this was left behind. After marriage, Vivek became my partner and I completed all those adventures. When I had to take part in Khatron Ke Khiladi, I did not have confidence in myself. But Vivek motivated me and I took part in it. This show was like a childhood dream for me. After this I also learned bike riding. I feel there is still a lot left in life and I want to do it all.
Importance of second chance in life
Divyanka believes that second chance becomes special when we embrace it and do not ignore it because of our first mistake or failure. He said, ‘Everyone gets a second chance in life. It is our choice whether we take advantage of that opportunity or leave it. Talking about relationships, if it ever turns sour, it is your decision whether to maintain that relationship or leave it. There have been many times in my career when I felt that I had got a second chance. I learned from my mistakes the first time and improved myself the second time. The first chance teaches us and the second chance gives us a chance to move in the right direction.
Housewife: The Greatest Superhero
Divyanka considers housewives as real superheroes. He said, ‘A housewife has amazing management skills. She handles the different emotions and ego of every member of her family. A housewife bargains at the right time, saves and knows the right use of money. My message is that housewives should recognize their skills and respect themselves. When you respect yourself, people will also respect you. It is important to take out time for your happiness also. If you are happy, your family will also be happy.
changing turns of life
About her life’s journey, Divyanka said, ‘My life has always been changing. At every turn I created a new path. Some turns were happy, some sad, but I continued on my way without ever being too happy or too sad. My ups and downs are what make my journey beautiful today. Every turn taught me something new and made me a better person.
Memories of Khatron Ke Khiladi
Khatron Ke Khiladi was a special journey for Divyanka. She said, ‘Even though I could not come first, the love and respect I received is the biggest achievement of my life. Even today, when people talk to me about this show, the love that is visible in their eyes is priceless to me.
