Recently he attended the Red Sea Film Festival, where he gave a big update about the sequel of ‘Animal’ ‘Animal Park’. He revealed that work on the script of the film is currently underway.

In an interview given to Deadline during the Red Sea Film Festival, Ranbir Kapoor has confirmed that ‘Animal’ is a three-part franchise. The shooting of the second part i.e. ‘Animal Park’ can start in the year 2027. It is being told that the name of the third part of ‘Animal’ will be ‘Animal Kingdom’.

Ranbir Kapoor said, ‘We will start the film in 2027. There is still some time. Sandeep Reddy Vanga (director) has just told what he wants to do with the film. He wants to make it in 3 parts. The name of the second part is Animal Park. Right from the first film, we have been sharing ideas on how to take this story forward. This is very exciting, because now I will get a chance to play two characters, a villain and a hero. This is a very exciting project. I am very excited to be a part of it.

Earning was more than 900 crores
The film ‘Animal’ was released last year in December 2023. In this, Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna were in lead roles. It was shown in the film that Ranvijay (Ranbir Kapoor) loves his father very much and can go to any extent for him. Anil Kapoor played the role of Ranbir’s father in ‘Animal’. The movie proved to be an all-time blockbuster, earning more than Rs 900 crore at the box office.

Talking about the work front, Ranbir Kapoor has recently completed the shooting of the first part of his much awaited ‘Ramayana’. Nitesh Tiwari is directing this film. Ranbir Kapoor is playing the role of Lord Ram in ‘Ramayana’. Sai Pallavi will be seen in the role of Mother Sita. Apart from this, Ranbir also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War’ film. In this he will be seen sharing the screen with Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt.
