Mumbai. This year was great for Shahid Kapoor. His film ‘Teri Baton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’, released in February this year, became the second superhit film of the year, which did a business of more than Rs 100 crore. Earlier, Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Fighter’ had made huge profits at the box office in January. Shahid had only 1 film released this year. He is busy preparing for his next film Deva, which will be released in January 2025. This will be the first megabudget film of the year.
Shahid Kapoor has given a big update about ‘Deva’ a few hours ago and has written a mysterious post. Shahid shared a mirror selfie and wrote, “Prep time…new year new merchandise…next character, next film, what can I do that I haven’t done before? …..Lost in the woods…..but you can’t be original unless you’re willing to get lost…”

Shahid Kapoor further wrote, “Deva’s character is dark, dangerous, yet delicate and graceful… Who this new character will be… no idea yet… but how beautiful is this journey of reinventing herself!” After this, hinting at the character of his next film, he wrote, “I am getting into the dangerous gangster of the 90s.”
Let us tell you, ‘Deva’ has been directed by well-known Malayalam director Roshan Andrews. It is produced by Zee Studios and Siddharth Roy Kapur. Pooja Hegde and Pavail Gulati will also be seen along with Shahid in the film. ‘Deva’ will be released at the box office on 31 January 2025.
