Filmmaker Atlee Kumar recently appeared on ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ to promote his new production venture ‘Baby John’. After this, a lot of anger was seen on social media. Some users accused Kapil Sharma of making fun of Atlee’s appearance.
Now Kapil Sharma countered these allegations and said that he did not try to make fun of Atlee. He appealed to the users to watch this episode and decide for themselves.
Kapil responded to a social media user’s post, which read, ‘Kapil Sharma made fun of Atlee’s looks? Atlee’s answer like a boss: Don’t look by looks, look by heart. #Atlee #KapilSharma. The video of Atlee’s conversation was also shared in this post.
In response, Kapil wrote, ‘Dear Sir, please tell me when and where in this video I talked about looks? Don’t try to spread hatred on social media, thank you. (People see for themselves and do not follow any tweet, like sheep).
What is the whole matter?
A video of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ showed a conversation between Atlee and Kapil Sharma. In this conversation, Kapil asks Atlee, ‘Atlee sir, you are so young. How did you become such a big producer and director? Has it ever happened that you met a star for the first time and he asked ‘Where is Atlee?’
On this Atlee says, ‘I understood what you said. I will try to explain it. I am very thankful to AR Murugadoss sir. Because he made my first film. They asked for the script, but they didn’t question my looks or my ability. But he liked my story. We should look only from the heart, not from looks.
Along with ‘Baby John’, ‘Varun Dhawan’, ‘Wamiqa Gabbi’ and ‘Keerthy Suresh’ also appeared with Atlee in this episode.
Let us tell you, Atlee made his directorial debut with the 2013 Tamil film ‘Raja Rani’, in which Ajay, Jai, Nayanthara and Nazriya Nazim were in the lead roles. The film was produced by AR Murugadoss. After this, Atlee directed more films like ‘Theri’, ‘Mersal’, ‘Bigil’, ‘Jawaan’.
