Singer and rapper Badshah has denied allegations that Gurugram traffic police had imposed a fine of Rs 15,500 on him and his team for violating traffic rules.
Badshah shared a post on his Instagram story, in which he wrote, ‘Brother, I don’t even have a Thar, nor was I driving that day. I was being driven in a white Vellfire and we always drive responsibly, be it cars or games.
Apart from this, Badshah’s team also released an official statement on Tuesday night. He said that some reports are claiming that after Karan Aujla’s concert in Delhi NCR on December 15, Badshah violated traffic rules and drove in the wrong direction. On this we want to clarify that all these allegations are completely false.
The team said no fine was imposed on any of the vehicles of Badshah and his team. They are cooperating in the entire investigation and the truth will come out soon.
Know the whole matter? Badshah had come to Karan Aujla’s concert in Sector-68 in Gurugram on Sunday (December 15). During this time, the vehicles included in his convoy were being taken from the wrong side. After this, people raised questions on social media platform X. At the same time, when the post went viral, the police took action.
People made the video of Thar moving in the wrong direction and made it viral on social media.
Thar is registered in the name of a youth from Panipat. On December 16, Gurugram Traffic Police had issued a challan of Rs 15,500 for the Thar vehicle. Apart from this, CCTV footage was also captured. According to police sources, the black Thar car in which Badshah was traveling is registered in the name of a youth from Panipat.
