The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday questioned Mallika Sherawat and TV actress Pooja Banerjee in the case related to Magic Win gambling app. Actually, ED investigation has revealed that Magic Win is a gaming website, whose owners are Pakistani citizens. Whereas some Indian citizens from Dubai were operating it. Not only this, the Men’s T20 World Cup was broadcast illegally on this website. Also online betting was done.
According to the information, Mallika Sherawat had sent her reply to ED through email, while Pooja Banerjee had reached ED’s Ahmedabad office for questioning. According to sources, ED has sent summons to two big celebrities. Apart from this, ED can also send summons to 7 more big celebrities, TV actors and comedians next week. In this case, in the last 6 months, ED has conducted about 67 raids across the country.
The ED had said in a statement on Tuesday that several B-town celebrities attended a launch party organized for the portal and had supported ‘Magic Win’. They also shot videos and photos for its promotion and shared them on their social media accounts. This news is being updated..
