Allu Arjun’s film ‘Pushpa 2’ was released on 5 December.
Allu Arjun held a press conference on Saturday. He said that some people are holding him responsible for the stampede that took place at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad during the premiere of Pushpa 2, which is wrong. Because of this he is feeling insulted. In fact, today itself Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had given a statement regarding the stampede at Sandhya Theatre.
Allu Arjun said, ‘I am getting information about the child’s health every hour. He is slowly recovering, and that is the best news. My aim is to give good entertainment to the audience, so that they leave the theater happy.
Arjun said, ‘Through this press conference I have not come to blame anyone or to accuse any political party, but have come to tell that a lot of misinformation, wrong allegations and miscommunication are being spread in this matter. . I am facing character assassination, which is humiliating me immensely. I have been in this industry for 20 years and the respect and credibility I have earned has been destroyed in a day.
Allu Arjun further said, ‘I spent three years in this film and went to see it, this is my biggest learning. I find it very important to watch my films in theaters so that I can learn something for my upcoming films. I have seen 7 of my films there. It was not a road show or a procession, just people standing outside. I shook hands because it was a way of showing respect. Everyone knows that when fans see you, they become quiet and slowly walk away. They cleared the way and my car came in, then I went to the theatre.
Allu Arjun said, ‘I was told that the crowd there had increased a lot and I was asked to leave from there. I did so immediately. No officer met me or told me anything. In the morning I came to know that the woman had died, and it was very sad.
Arjun said, ‘My intentions were good. I left my two children at home, who are of the same age as the injured child. I could not go to meet the injured child because a case had been registered against me. I wanted to see him, so I left a video message. I asked my father and director Sukumar to see the condition of the child and inform me.
Arjun said, ‘This is the time when I should be happy and celebrate, but in these 15 days I could not go anywhere. Due to legal reasons, I am tied up and can’t go anywhere.
