Fateh Movie Sonu Sood Interview | Action Sequence Sonu Sood said – ‘Fateh’ will prove to be a benchmark in action: Three and a half minutes of uncut action sequence in the film, for this a team was called from outside.

Actor Sonu Sood is going to debut in direction through the upcoming film Fateh. He has also written the story of the film. Even Sonu will be seen in the lead role. The film will be released on January 10, 2025.

Before the release of the film, Sonu Sood spoke to Dainik Bhaskar. According to Sonu, Fateh’s action sequences will prove to be a new benchmark in the industry. People were called from outside to design the action of the film.

Sonu said that the kind of films he wanted to be a part of were not being made. For this reason he himself took the responsibility of direction.

Question- You are seen in the role of a director for the first time, what are your feelings? answer– A lot of hard work has been done in the last two-two and a half years. From writing to every point of the film, work has been done very minutely. I had decided to make an action film that had never been made. India should also proudly say that such an action film has never been made before.

Question- Were films worthy of you not being made, so you had to venture into direction yourself? answer– Many times one’s own story has to be written with one’s own pen. The film I wanted was not being made. I was feeling as if I was not being able to do what I can do. Thinking this, I myself took the responsibility of making the film.

Sonu has done both the writing and direction of the story.

Question- You also give a lot of input on dialogues in films, why don’t you take credit for it? answer- Only through dialogues are we able to properly connect with the audience. Dialogues should be such that even street children can understand and relate to them. After watching Fateh, you will keep reciting his dialogues in your personal life.

Question- You have also paid a lot of attention to the music of the film, where do you get your understanding of music from? answer– Music should be such that it matches with the sequence of the film. In Fateh, I have sung songs from the biggest singers of today like Arijit Singh, Honey Singh, Vishal Mishra, B Praak and Jubin Nautiyal.

Along with Sonu, Jacqueline Fernandez is also in the lead role in the film.

Question- Fateh’s action is being compared with international films, some people are comparing it with John Wick? answer- I have done action films for so many years, but I always felt that something was missing. Many times I used to wonder why we are not able to show international level action. Perhaps the biggest issue is production cost and vision. I designed proper action scenes for Fateh. Besides, detailing of every action scene was also done on paper.

Three and a half minutes of nonstop action will be seen in the film. Not a single cut will be visible in it. The action designing team of big Hollywood films like Jurassic Park, Fast and Furious and Captain Marvel has been called and they have been employed. Teams came from South Africa and Mexico to shoot action scenes. I think Fateh’s action will prove to be a benchmark.
