New Delhi : Shahrukh Khan is currently working on his upcoming film ‘King’. The shooting of the film is going to start soon. Along with this, his daughter Suhana Khan is also ready for her theatrical debut. Shahrukh has received offers for many more films, but he has refused most of them. Famous Bollywood director Madhur Bhandarkar had revealed the plans for the film ‘Inspector Ghalib’ in 2022. This film is an action film based on the real story of a police officer from Uttar Pradesh. Madhur had told that the script of the film is completely ready and he had contacted Shahrukh Khan for it.

Madhur Bhandarkar recently told in an interview to Pinkvilla why work on ‘Inspector Ghalib’ could not be done. He said- ‘The script of the film was very good and I wanted to make it. But due to Covid-19, the project stopped and contacts with everyone were lost. Madhur has said to think again about this film. According to him, ‘Inspector Ghalib’ is a realistic action film and he wants to make it. However, it is not yet clear whether Shahrukh Khan will be a part of this project or not. This will be known only later.

Further planning on the film

Madhur further said- ‘When I feel that ‘Inspector Ghalib’ should be made, I will definitely make it. This is an interesting and real story. He has not yet given any date for starting the film. When something like this happens, they will inform everyone about it.

Will Shahrukh Khan join the project?

Madhur Bhandarkar has indicated to approach Shahrukh Khan again. It will be interesting to see whether Shahrukh will be seen in ‘Inspector Ghalib’? ‘Inspector Ghalib’ is Madhur Bhandarkar’s dream project, but its beginning is not known yet.
