New Delhi. In Bollywood, if an actor-director duo becomes a hit, then they do back-to-back films. The pairing of Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan is also similar. Both of them did ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, ‘Hera Pheri’, ‘Bhaagam Bhaag; Had worked together in many films like. But when Akshay Kumar’s career started wavering, he was dropped from the sequel of his own superhit film. When the sequel of 2007’s ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ came in 2022, Akshay Kumar did not get a place in it. Kartik Aryan replaced him in the lead role.

The first film of the ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ franchise was directed by Priyadarshan while ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ was directed by Aneez Bazmee. Kartik Aryan, Tabu and Kiara Advani played lead roles in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’.

This film made huge profits at the box office. Kartik Aryan, Tripti Dimri, Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit played important roles in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ released last year. The third film of this superhit franchise also performed brilliantly at the box-office.

The first part of ‘Bhool Bhulaiya’ was a remake of the 1993 Malayalam film, Manichitrathaju. Akshay Kumar played the role of Dr. Aditya Srivastava, a psychiatrist, while Vidya Balan played the role of a woman who has Dissociative Identity Disorder.
