New Delhi: Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked on January 16 at his house in Bandra, Mumbai. He is currently trying to recover from his injuries at home, although Maharashtra government minister Nitish Rane and Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam had raised questions on the genuineness of the actor’s injuries. Bhajan Singh Rana, the autorickshaw driver who took the actor to the hospital, has reacted to this.
The auto driver told IANS that Saif was not acting on the night of the incident. Sanjay Nirupam had expressed doubt on Saif Ali Khan’s condition by sharing a post on X. He had written in the post, ‘Having a knife inserted in the back and the actor remaining so fit only after some time of surgery, is it amazing?’ Minister Nitish Rane had also expressed doubt about Saif’s injuries.
Auto rickshaw driver Bhajan Singh Rana said, ‘When I saw Saif Ali Khan for the first time, his kurta was soaked in blood and he was bleeding from his body.’ When Bhajan Singh was asked, is it possible to become so fit in five days in the condition in which you saw Saif? On this he said, ‘The doctors of Lilavati Hospital are good and excellent surgeons. He can answer this question better than me or anyone else. There should be no politics on this issue because he was not acting.
Auto drivers were scared after seeing Saif’s condition
Bhajan Singh Rana said that three people were traveling in the rickshaw on the night of the incident. There was a small child and another person with Saif. When I saw him, it did not seem as if Saif Ali Khan was acting. The wound was fresh. He was drenched in blood. Seeing him in that condition, I myself was scared and was thinking of leaving from here as soon as possible, I was scared.
Received reward of Rs 51 thousand from Saif Ali Khan
Bhajan Singh finally said, ‘I work as a rickshaw puller. Social worker Faizan Ansari helped me with Rs 11,000. Saif Ali Khan provided financial help by giving 51 thousand rupees, but I do not go to ask from anyone. If someone gives it, I take it.
