A person named Abhishek MR of Bengaluru complained in the court that he had bought tickets to watch Vicky Kaushal’s film Sam Bahadur, but PVR-Inox showed AIDS for 25 minutes before the film. Because of this, his precious time was wasted and his other works have been affected.
Court verdict
The court admitted that this step of PVR-Inox was not correct and people’s time was being used incorrectly. The court said that put the right time of the film on the PVR-Inox ticket. The film did not show AIDS after show time.
PVR-Inox fined
The court, while taking strict action on the PVR-Inox- ordered the complainant to give a compensation of ₹ 20,000 for mental trouble. Asked to give ₹ 8,000 additional compensation for the expenses incurred in filing the complaint. Both multiplex chains were fined ₹ 1 lakh.
