Apple closed old devices
Soon after the launch of the iPhone 16E, Apple has removed the old iPhone SE, iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus models from Apple’s official website. However, these models are still available for sale through third party retailers such as Flipkart and Amazon through refurbished stores in India, but the stock is also likely to disappear soon. All these phones were introduced in 2022. The iPhone SE (2022) was launched in March 2022 with an initial price of Rs 43,900. On the other hand, in September 2022, the iPhone 14 market was launched in the market with an initial price of Rs 79,900 and iPhone 14 Plus 89,900.
Apple stopped selling the iPhone 15 Pro series and iPhone 13 models after launching the iPhone 16 series last year. The brand started removing the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus and iPhone SE from its online store in many European countries, as the European Union implemented a new law to compulsory USB Type-C charging port on most devices. Apple’s iPhone portfolio currently includes the iPhone 15 Series, iPhone 16, 16 Pro series and the new iPhone 16E. The company can also remove the base iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus when the iPhone 17 lineup is introduced.
