A complaint has been filed against Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgan and Tiger Shroff regarding Pan Masala advertisement in Kota. Social activist Inder Mohan Singh alleged that these advertisements are misleading the youth.

New Delhi : Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgan and Tiger Shroff have been overwhelming to add paan masala. Recently, a social worker in Kota, Rajasthan has filed a complaint against these three actors in the Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission.
It has been said in the complaint that these actor is misleading the youth by promoting Saffron -rich paan masala. On this, the Commission has issued a notice not only to these Bollywood stars but also to the company making this product and sought a reply till 21 April.
What is the whole matter?
Complainant Inder Mohan Singh Hani, who is a social worker, has claimed that the Pan Masala advertisement being done by Bollywood stars is going to cheat the youth. He said in his petition that the youth consider these actors as their ideal and when these stars promote a product, it affects millions of people.
It has also been written in the complaint that it has been written on the packing of paan masala being advertised that saffron is present in it. But in fact, saffron was not found in it, while the real saffron in the market is sold at around Rs 4 lakh per kg.
Claim of Saffron -rich Paan Masala is false?
Vivek Nandwana, the complainant’s lawyer, said that the claim of saffron (Vimal Pan Masala) is being advertised is false.
- This product is sold for just 5 rupees, which arises that it may include expensive saffron or not.
- Apart from this, the warning written on the product is in such a small letters that it is very difficult to read it, which does not give consumers to the right information.
- The complainant has demanded immediate ban on these misleading advertisements and fines on the company and stars if found guilty.
What can be punished?
The petitioner has also requested that the penalty imposed on these stars and the company should be deposited in the Youth Welfare Fund of the Youth Affairs and Sports Ministry of the Government of India.
Consumer court president Anurag Gautam and member Virendra Singh Rawat have to appear in the court on 21 February 2025 for Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgan, Tiger Shroff and Vimal Pan Masala.
These stars are trapped before
This is not the first time that Bollywood stars are caught in controversies about advertising Pan Masala or other harmful products.
Ajay Devgan, Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar Vimal were seen together in cardamom advertisements, which had a huge controversy about.
Later, Akshay Kumar had distanced himself from his advertisement after criticisms, but Ajay and Shah Rukh remained in its promotion. Now, Tiger Shroff is also caught in this controversy.
