Apple Captures 60 Percent of AI PC Market With its Mac Range, Windows AI PC Shipments Grew 12 Percent in Q2 of Current Year

American devices maker Apple has captured 60 percent of the market share of personal computers (PCs) with artificial intelligence (AI) features in the second quarter of the current year. More than 88 lakh AI PCs have been shipped internationally in the second quarter. Sales of these PCs are expected to increase in the second half of this year.

Market research firm Canalys Report According to the report, Mac computers with Apple’s silicon chipsets accounted for 60 percent of AI PC shipments. This is much higher than Windows AI computers. However, shipments of Windows AI PCs grew by about 127 percent on a quarter-on-quarter basis. Lenovo’s Yoga Slim and ThinkPad laptops have a six percent share in this segment. Dell has achieved a seven percent market share with its Inspiron, XPS and Latitude computers.

Apple’s iPhone 16 series may be launched soon. The basic model of this series, iPhone 16, may have a new design. Its Pro models may get upgrades related to performance and charging speed. The iPhone 15 series introduced last year received a good response from customers. Recently, tipster Instant Digital said in a post on China’s messaging platform Weibo that iPhone 16 Pro models may have higher capacity batteries. The iPhone 16 Pro of this series may have a 3,577 mAh battery and the iPhone 16 Pro Max may have a 4,441 mAh battery. However, Apple has not revealed the battery capacity of the upcoming iPhone series.

Earlier, social media platform X user JSonny Dickson (@SonnyDickson) leaked the dummy units of iPhone 16. This smartphone is seen with five colors and a newly designed camera island. It can be made available in blue, green, pink, black and white colors. iPhone 16 can have a 6.1-inch OLED display. iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus can have A18 Bionic chip and iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max can have A18 Pro chip. Both iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max can get support for 40 W wired charging and 20 W wireless charging using MagSafe.
