Mumbai. Tollywood actor Samrat Mukherjee was arrested by the police today i.e. Tuesday morning. The actor’s car collided with a motorcycle. The incident happened late at night. A 29-year-old boy riding the motorcycle was badly injured. The injured boy was first taken to a nearby hospital, from where he was referred to another hospital. The incident took place in Behala area of Kolkata. The injured boy lives in Vidyasagar Colony of Behala.
After being injured in the accident, he was first taken to MR Bangur Hospital. Then he was referred to SSKM Hospital. Kolkata Police said on this road accident, “The actor has been arrested and now he is being taken for medical test. We are investigating the matter.”
The motorcyclist said, “I was returning home at 12:30 in the night. I saw a car coming from the wrong direction at a high speed. The car hit me and I fainted.” Locals said that Samrata Mukherjee was going from Behala Chaurasta towards Tollygunge when his car went out of control and collided with a motorcycle. After the collision, Samraat’s car hit a nearby house, breaking its boundary wall.
