This report has discussed in detail about 17 types of sexual harassment in the Malayalam film industry. The Hema Committee has created a stir in the film world by exposing this dark truth of the Malayalam film industry. Now many stars have come forward and shared their experiences. The name of famous Tamil film industry actress Sanam Shetty is also included in this list.
Sanam Shetty, while talking to Hindustan Times Tamil, talked about being a victim of casting couch in the Tamil film industry. According to the news published in News 18 English, actress Sanam Shetty said that there is a problem of casting couch in the Tamil film industry as well. Regarding this, she says, ‘I do not know much about the Hema Committee, but I want to welcome this report wholeheartedly’.

She further says, ‘Such incidents happen every day in the Tamil film industry. Here you cannot say no. I am telling you from my experience’. Sanam Shetty says, ‘When people say why did you not talk about this earlier. Where were you till now, I feel like killing them’.
She further says, ‘I am raising my voice against these incidents happening in the industry. It should not be that this is the only way to get work in films. Not only women, many men also fall prey to casting couch. I do not want to do such work, I think that if I have talent then I will get it’.
