Dilip Kumar and Saira Bano used to come to this wish-fulfilling dargah, they used to pray by bowing their heads

Etawah/Rajat Kumar: No one knows Dilip Kumar and Saira Bano. Both of them won the hearts of fans with their work. But do you know about the dargah where both of them used to go? This dargah is in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh. The name of the dargah is Hartat Abul Hasan Shah Warsi.

The dargah of Hazrat Abul Hasan Shah Warsi, the pillar of love and affection, is located in Neville Road Katra Sahab Khan Etawah. It was established by Hazrat Mahmood Shah Warsi. In this dargah sharif, first Imam Bara Sharif, Hujra Sharif Sarkar Waris e Pas and later the Roza of Hazrat Abul Hasan Shah Warsi was established. Finally the mosque and 32 rooms were constructed. Hazrat Mahmood Shah Warsi established a trust in 1949 for the management of the dargah.

Honey Warsi, manager and secretary of the Dargah Abul Hasan Shah Warsi Mausoleum Trust, says that Dilip Kumar and Saira Bano stayed at the Dargah for the whole day for the first time in 1972; they came for the second time in 1975 on the occasion of the three-day Urs and stayed for about one and a half days.

I prayed with my head bowed down
The beloved film actor Dilip Kumar had come to Etawah twice with his wife Saira Bano. He had a spiritual relationship with Dargah Warsi situated here. When he did not have any child even after six years of marriage, he came to Abul Shah Hasan Warsi Dargah and prayed with folded hands.

The second time they came in 1975 on the occasion of the three-day Urs and stayed for about one and a half days. It is said that the dargah is the Peerkhana (Guru’s house) of Saira Bano’s mother, the famous actress Naseem Bano. Her Peer (Guru) Mahmood Shah Warsi lived here. She also came to the dargah many times with her mother Naseem Bano.’

Naseem Bano had brought her son-in-law Dilip Kumar and daughter Saira to the dargah to pray for a child. Dargah secretary Honey Warisi says that people from all religions from across the country come to this dargah to get their child married. This dargah has a special significance in itself.
