Director Karan Guliani loves making films based on real life. Recently he announced his new film, which will be based on the special love story of two gangsters. He got the idea of this film from a news which touched his heart.
While talking to Dainik Bhaskar, Karan talked about many things about the film, such as its research, story and upcoming challenges.
A news gave the idea of the film
Karan told, ‘I went to an ashram in Nainital, which is called Kaichi Dham. Maharaj ji had said one thing there – ‘Love is more powerful than electricity.’ At that time it seemed a simple thing, but when I came back to Delhi, a news surprised me. There was news that notorious gangster Kala Jathedi married Rajasthan’s lady don Anuradha Chaudhary. After reading this, a question came to my mind that how could these two fall in love, because their entire lives were related to crime. This thinking inspired me to make a film.
Gangster’s story, which will show truth and emotion
Karan further said, ‘This is not just a crime story, but it will show how great a power love can be. I have done a lot of research on this story. First of all I contacted Kala Jethadi and Anuradha ji. Initially he was a little doubtful, but after three months he told me that he wanted me to make this film. After knowing about his life and his experiences, the focus of the film became clear to me.
Work is going on on the character and script
Karan told that work on the script of the film is still going on. ‘Our team stays with them for a week every month. We are trying to meet Anuradha ji and know her real experiences. There will be some fictional elements in this film, to make the story interesting, but real things will also be seen. The main message of the film will be that love is bigger than anything.
ready for social media trolling
When asked about trolling on social media, Karan said, ‘Nowadays there is trolling on everything, but I am ensuring that nothing is fake in the film. We are shooting at real locations, so that everything looks real. My effort is to show the power of love truthfully in the film.
The audience will definitely like the film
Karan told that this film will bring a special message. ‘I don’t want to promote crime. My film is a story of love between two people who are there for each other despite their difficulties. Anuradha ji had told me one thing – ‘This is the meeting of souls.’ These words touched my heart. I want this truth to reach the audience in the film.
Karan is sure that people will like this film very much. ‘This story is true and completely emotional. When people see this, they will understand how powerful love is. I hope that this film will make its place in the hearts of the audience. They will become emotional.
