New Delhi: Alia Bhatt’s film ‘Jigra’ was released in theaters on 11 October. After the release of the film, Kangana Ranaut took a dig at Alia Bhatt and wrote, ‘When you make women-oriented films and ensure that they do not work, they do not work even when you make them.’ Now Divya Khosla Kumar has satirized Alia Bhatt in the name of ‘Jigra’. While promoting the controversy that started regarding ‘Savi’ and ‘Jigra’, he has accused Alia Bhatt of showing fake collection.
Divya attacked Alia while sharing the photo of an empty theatre. He claimed that the theaters where ‘Jigra’ is being shown are lying vacant. The actress wrote in the post, ‘Went to City Mall PVR to see Jigra. The theater was completely empty. All the theaters are lying empty. Alia Bhatt really has a lot of heart. Bought the tickets myself and announced the fake collection.

Taunt on fake collection of ‘Jigra’
Divya Khosla sarcastically accused Alia that the actress has bought tickets of her own film to show fake collection. Some time ago, Divya Khosla had counted the similarities of ‘Jigra’ with her film ‘Saavi’ and said that the journey of both the films is different and expressed happiness that she had touched this genre first. Harshvardhan Rane and Anil Kapoor also play important roles in ‘Savi’, which is the story of a woman who struggles to get her husband out of jail in England. The film is inspired by the story of Savitri and Satyavan. On the other hand, in Jigra it is shown what Alia Bhatt does to get her brother out of jail.

There are similarities in the plots of ‘Jigra’ and ‘Savi’
Divya Khosla had said in a conversation with IANS, ‘Savi and ‘Jigra’ look similar in every aspect. I would just like to say that with the love of the audience and the grace of God, ‘Savi’ has proved itself on the strength of its qualities. We also performed well in theaters and on OTT. We remained on top in many countries. Even though ‘Jigra’ is similar to it, I think every film has its own journey and sometimes two production houses can make a film on a similar plot.
