Akshay Kumar was shooting for his upcoming film Housefull 5. During which an accident happened with him on the set. The actor suffered an eye injury while shooting an action sequence for the film.
Accident happened while shooting action scene
According to Hindustan Times, Akshay Kumar suffered an eye injury while performing a stunt. During the shoot, a flying object hit the actor’s eye. Immediately after the eye injury, an eye specialist was called on the film set itself. The doctor checked Akshay’s eyes and bandaged his eyes. The doctor has advised the actor not to shoot and to take rest.

The shooting of the film is in the final stage. Due to Akshay’s injury, the shooting of the film was stopped for a while, but after that the shooting was started again. However, Akshay’s scenes have been put on hold for now. Now these scenes will be shot only after his recovery.

Talking about Housefull 5, along with Akshay Kumar, many big stars including Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Shreyas Talpade, Chunky Pandey, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Fardeen Khan are included in the film. Tarun Mansukhani is directing this film. The film will be released in theaters on June 6, 2025.
