New Delhi: The dispute between Vasu Bhagnani and Ali Abbas Zafar is increasing. Vasu Bhagnani had filed a complaint at Bandra Police Station in Mumbai on September 3, 2024, accusing Ali Abbas Zafar, Himanshu Mehra and Ekesh Randive of cheating and forgery of crores of rupees. The filmmaker had alleged that during the shooting of ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’, fake documents were signed in his name. When the police did not take action, Vasu Bhagnani approached the court and demanded registration of FIR.
Bandra Court, in its order dated December 2, 2024, said that the allegations are serious and huge amounts of money are involved, hence the matter should be taken into cognizance. The court ordered to register an FIR on the complaint of Vasu Bhagnani. Vasu Bhagnani had filed a complaint before the Bandra Court against director Ali Abbas Zafar and others, on the basis of which an FIR was registered against Ali Abbas Zafar, Himanshu Mehra and Akesh Randive at the Bandra Police Station. He has been accused of committing a crime during the shooting of the film ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’. A case has been registered against all three under sections 120B (criminal conspiracy), 406, 420 (fraud), 464 (making false documents), 468 (forgery), 471, 500 (defamation), 506 (criminal intimidation), 34 (Criminal Act). It has happened.

Vasu Bhagnani has heaved a sigh of relief after the court’s decision. When Ali Abbas Zafar had accused Vasu Bhagnani of not paying Rs 7.30 crore, Vasu and his son Jackie had filed a police complaint accusing Ali Abbas Zafar of usurping the subsidy.
