According to earlier media reports, Shanaya Kapoor, like most star kids, was going to make her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s film ‘Bedhadak’, but now her film Dabba has been shelved.
After the closure of Karan Johar’s film Dabba Band, Shanaya Kapoor is now going to debut with the musical drama film ‘Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan’. ’12th Fail’ actor Vikrant Massey will be seen with her in this film. According to the report of Peeping Moon, Shanaya Kapoor is going to be seen in the role of a theater artist in the film. Whereas, actor Vikrant Massey will be seen in the role of a blind musician.
Santosh Singh, who has worked on projects like ‘Broken But Beautiful’ and ‘Apharan’, is going to direct ‘Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan’. Its story has been written by acclaimed writers like Niranjan Iyengar and Mansi Bagla. According to media reports, Shanaya Kapoor and Vikrant Massey are going to start shooting for ‘Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan’ by the end of this month. However, the official announcement of the film is still pending.
Made debut in Malayalam film
‘Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan’ is Shanaya Kapoor’s second film. Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter made her debut with the Telugu-Malayalam film ‘Vrishabh’. Mohanlal is also with her in this film.
