Allu Arjun had reached a local evening theater in Hyderabad on Wednesday night. The crowd gathered to see him. There was a sudden stampede, in which a woman Revathi died and 3 people were injured. Revathi’s 9-year-old son Shretej was also among those injured.
Now the deceased woman’s husband Bhaskar has held Allu Arjun responsible for his wife’s death. In an interview given to Times of India, Bhaskar says that Allu’s team did not inform the police about the actor’s coming to the theatre. If the team had given this information, neither his wife would have died nor his 9 year old son would have been in critical condition in the hospital.

Bhaskar said- had gone to watch the film on the insistence of his son. Bhaskar told- My son is a fan of Allu Arjun. He was forcing me to book tickets for Pushpa 2 for the last 10 days. I had booked a premiere show and we went there to watch the movie. We reached there by 9:15-9:30 and did not see much crowd there. When we went inside, Allu Arjun came and a huge crowd also entered inside and this incident happened.
Bhaskar narrated the entire story of the painful night. Bhaskar said- I was on the spot, but was taking care of my daughter. When the crowd started pushing, my wife went away and I remained behind. Later I called my wife and she said she was inside, then her phone started switching off and she went missing.
Later, due to heavy crowd, I went to my relatives’ house to drop my daughter. After returning, I again started searching for my wife and son. While searching I informed the police and then they told that the wife and son have been taken to the hospital.
‘I want my son safe and sound’ Bhaskar further said- My only demand is that my son should be saved, he should be treated and he should return home after getting healthy. The hospital people have told me that there is no improvement in my son’s condition. They will tell after 48 hours. Action should be initiated regarding this incident. What has happened to me should not happen to others.

‘My world was destroyed by the news of the police’ Bhaskar also talked about his wife. He told that Revati had donated her liver to Bhaskar in 2023. Regarding this, Bhaskar said- Till 2:30 am on Thursday I did not get any update about Revathi. Then some policemen informed me of his death and my world was destroyed. She gave me life and now she is gone.
Bhaskar says that Revathi got injured while trying to save her son from the mob and lost her life.
Allu Arjun went to the hospital to meet the injured child Meanwhile, Allu Arjun’s team says that the actor had gone to meet the 9-year-old child in the hospital. He had also offered financial help to the family for the treatment. However, not everything can be shared on social media. The team is committed to supporting the family in every possible way.
