Aman, how excited and how nervous are you about this film?
Whenever you start any work in your career, there is a little nervousness. There is a lot of excitement because this is a very special moment.
Rasha, tell me how are you feeling?
I am also very nervous. There is excitement, but there is a lot of nervousness. This film is very special for me. This is the first film of my life. The kind of experiences I had during the shooting of this film will never come back. This film will always be close to my heart.
Why did you choose this film to start your career?
I love this film very much. This film has received a lot of love from Ajay Devgan sir, Aman, director Abhishek Kapoor and the rest of the crew members of the film.
Aman, you tell me. What was so special about this film that you chose it?
I am playing the character of Govind in this film. When I first auditioned for this character, I fell in love with the character of Govind. The story of the film is such that not a human but a horse is the hero. I love animals very much. I found this thing very special. That’s why I did this film.
The hero of the film is Azad Ghoda, didn’t you think that it would cast an overshadow?
There is a very cute horse in it. What problem will there be if it also casts an over shadow? This is a very emotional story, in which comedy, romance, action and love for animals will also be seen. So much is a film, so who wouldn’t want to do such a film?
Rasha, what would you like to say about Azad?
I love animals very much since childhood. The black colored free horse in this is very beautiful. It is like a dream for me to be able to work with animals. I can spend time with horses every day.
Aman, what kind of preparation did you do for the character of Govind?
The story of the film is of a village 100 years ago. I grew up in Mumbai. In the beginning, a lot of hard work had to be done in preparing for the character. How people talked at that time. To understand it, we took dialect classes. Had to do a lot of acting workshops. There are many scenes with horses in this film. To establish proper rapport with her, he used to sleep with her, bathe her and even feed her. Because of this a bond was formed with the horse.
Rasha, what kind of preparation did you have to do for your character?
We Did workshops together. Gattu sir (Abhishek Kapoor) was focused on our performance. He said that the lines should be such that they can be said 100 times. To understand this film, we watched films like ‘Mother India’ and ‘Lagaan’. Still, Gattu sir told us about that environment, how people lived at that time, what kind of things they talked about.
When did you decide to make a career in acting?
Performing was my passion in childhood. She used to dance in front of the mirror while playing music. She used to sing something or the other, even if she could not sing in tune. When I used to perform on stage, I get a very different kind of feeling. Since then it became my dream to do acting.
Apart from mother Raveena, which other heroine do you consider ideal?
When I was young, I loved the work of Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor and Tamannaah Bhatia. Even his name was not known at that time. Looking at his work, she wondered how a person could have so much talent.
Aman, who do you consider as your ideal?
I used to watch a lot of uncle’s (Ajay Devgan) films in my childhood. When I saw his film ‘The Legend of Bhagat Singh’ for the first time, I realized that this is a very strange world. At that time I had no understanding of acting. We have grown up in such an environment where cinema is discussed even at the dinner table. When I turned 15 after 10th, I decided that I have to do acting.
Who first told you that you wanted to make a career in acting?
First of all I told mom and uncle (Ajay Devgan) together. Both of them said that it takes a lot of hard work. It was with that pressure that I started working. I never got a compliment like that from him. Uncle also scolds me, but I consider it love. Because he wants me to be like him too.
Rasha, who first told you that you wanted to pursue a career in acting?
I never told you about acting. I found this very strange. Mom is an actress, everyone thought that I would make a career in acting. People expect this, so it was obvious that they would compare with mom. I have accepted this. I know that I have to create my identity on the strength of my hard work.
How was the experience of working with Ajay Devgan during the shooting?
I don’t have any special scene in the film with Ajay sir. We met a lot during the shooting. Ajay sir helped us a lot during the shooting of our scene. Used to give little tips. We got to learn a lot from him.
What was the chemistry like between Aman and you during the shooting?
We met for the first time at a workshop. It was the first day of the workshop. To make a good impression, she went straight to school 20 minutes early in her uniform. Aman was not visible there, my eyes were searching for Aman. During the workshop, we got time to understand each other better. After this we went to live in the village for the workshop. From there we had a good bonding.
At that time you were also giving 12th exam, it must have been very difficult to prepare for acting?
Had done some studying before the shooting started. Whenever she got a break from shooting, she used to study. Once she was shooting in Bhopal, from there she came to Mumbai by flight at 12 o’clock in the night and after giving her exam in the morning, she returned in the evening. There was a little bit of running around in this way but everything was managed.
How was the experience of shooting on the first day?
Was very nervous on the first day. I didn’t know anything about shots and camera angles. The cameraman was explaining, but I was not able to understand anything. I don’t even remember what I did in the scene.
Aman, tell me how was the experience of shooting on the first day?
My first scene was with the family of the film. There were very experienced actors in that role. Because of which I felt very comfortable in working.
Rasha, what do you like most about Aman? Are there any habits of his that you would like to change?
The best quality of Aman is that he can make anyone feel comfortable. He is very humble and pure of heart. I have spent so much time with Aman that I know many things about him, but this is how Aman presents himself. Like no one knows anything about them.
Aman, what would you like to say about Rasha?
Rasha has a big heart. She thinks a lot about others. There are very few people like this, but she has a lot of fun with me. He teased me many times. Once I had coffee in my hand and was unable to run away, so my dhoti was pulled.
Rasha, what kind of feedback have you received from mom?
Mummy is very happy. But she won’t tell me the way she tells people about me. She always says to stay connected to the ground. Because whatever happens in life is temporary.
Aman, what feedback have you received from Ajay Devgan?
We have been brought up in such an environment that good work is always expected. After watching the film, uncle just said that good job. Nothing more was said than this.
