What is MOVEit Transfer

This is a kind of vulnerability, which infiltrated companies around the world and obtained sensitive data. This type of vulnerability is transmitted to the companies’ servers through file transfer.

According to media reports, an alleged hacking group named Name3L3ss leaked the stolen data on BreachForums. Amazon is not the first company to fall victim to MOVEit Transfer. According to reports, companies like HP and HSBC have also struggled with this.

Amazon spokesperson Adam Montgomery Said It is clear that due to this breach, there has been no impact on Amazon’s main systems like Amazon and AWS systems. According to the company, only work-related contact details could reach the cyber attackers. That means, the office emails, desk phone numbers and building addresses of Amazon employees have been leaked. However, the company has not revealed how many of its employees have been victims of this data breach.
