Ruchi Sharma, wife of Venkatesh Sharma, a resident of Ganesh Bihar of Ambala Cantonment, has been awarded the National Youth Award. She has been associated with women welfare works for the last 17 years. Along with this, she remains an inspiration for women.

She is constantly working to bring women forward in society. The fame of the work done by Ruchi, daughter -in -law of Ambala Cantonment, has reached Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi.

He has been honored by the then President Pranab Mukherjee at Rashtrapati Bhavan in the year 2012-13. Even after this, interest did not stop. She continued to do women welfare work one after the other and was honored with many awards.

When everything was closed during the Corona period, Ruchi did many things for women. Ruchi thought that women who have no one, how would they be living. On this, he sent ration to women’s house for two consecutive months.

Along with this, he has also done many things to make him self -reliant. Along with this, he also created a documentary on the Nirbhaya incident. Which received a lot of praise.

Beginning from Nehru Yuva Kendra

According to Ruchi Sharma, she hails from Mahendragarh. He has studied up to MA from there. She then joined Nehru Yuva Kendra. From there he started his social work. He then started several camps like sewing centers for women, where he worked to make women self -sufficient.

15 awards have been received so far

According to interest, he has so far received more than 15 big awards for social work, including the major awards given by the Government of Haryana and the Government of India for women empowerment.
