Amidst fight with Mukesh Khanna, Sonakshi Sinha reveals double standards, targets older actors

Mumbai. Sonakshi Sinha is in constant discussion after her marriage with Zaheer Iqbal. Recently she got into controversies with Mukesh Khanna. He also criticized Mukesh Khanna. Amidst the controversy with Mukesh, Sonakshi revealed that once an older actor had refused to work with her because the actor believed that she (Sonakshi) looked older than him. Sonakshi also talked about double standards for men and women in films. He said that actresses have to bear the brunt of the double standards of the industry.

Sonakshi Sinha said in a roundtable chat with Zoom, “It is very clear that the same expectations do not apply to men (actors). When they romance women 30 years younger than them, they are not shamed by their age. They are not shamed for having more or less hair on their stomach. It is very clear that women have to bear the brunt of this.”

Sonakshi Sinha also reacted to the pregnancy rumour. He called it just a rumour. Speculations about Sonakshi’s pregnancy started when she was seen outside a clinic with husband Zaheer Iqbal, after which a picture of Sonakshi holding her dog surfaced.
