New Delhi. Film world superstar Anil Kapoor will soon be seen performing in the upcoming film ‘Subedar’. The shooting of the film has started. Anil Kapoor is in the lead role in the action-drama film. The film is being directed by Suresh Triveni. Suresh Triveni has given successful films like ‘Jalsa’ and ‘Tumhari Sulu’ to the entertainment world.
The filmmaker has announced the commencement of shooting of the film by sharing a post on Wednesday. Along with this, the producer has also shared Anil Kapoor’s look from the film. Radhika Madan is also in the lead role along with Anil Kapoor in the film. Radhika will be seen playing the role of Anil Kapoor’s daughter Shyama in the film.
Along with Anil Kapoor and Radhika Madan, many other brilliant actors are in important roles. At the same time, if we look at the background of the film, ‘Subedar’ is based on the Indian background and the story of Subedar Arjun Maurya is shown in it. In this, he grapples with the challenges of living life amid various circumstances and handles a strained relationship with his daughter.
A soldier who once fought for the country will now have to fight the enemies within to protect his home and family. Anil had started preparations for the film in the beginning of June 2024. The film is directed by Suresh Triveni, produced by Vikram Malhotra, Anil Kapoor and Suresh Triveni and written by Suresh Triveni and Prajwal Chandrashekhar. The dialogues of the film have been written by Suresh Triveni and Saurabh. This film will come on Prime Video.
Talking about the work front, Anil Kapoor was recently seen hosting the third season of the streaming reality show ‘Bigg Boss OTT’. Sana Maqbool was crowned the winner of ‘Bigg Boss OTT’. Anil Kapoor made his debut in the 1983 romance-drama film ‘Woh Saat Din’ directed by Sattiraju Lakshminarayan.
