According to a report by Reuters, many of Apple’s iPhone models will be given discounts on using special payment methods during the promotion running from January 4-7. The company has offered a discount of CNY 500 or about $69 on iPhones. The economic growth in China is slow and inflation is increasing. For this reason, Chinese consumers are spending cautiously. Huawei has reduced the prices of premium devices including smartphones. Due to this, Huawei’s sales have increased rapidly in the last few quarters. Apple has planned to reduce its manufacturing in China.

Apple plans to launch a new affordable smartphone soon. Information about this has been received from some leaks. However, there is speculation that the company will change the model of this smartphone. It can be brought as iPhone 16E instead of iPhone SE 4. Recently, tipster Majin Bu had said in a post on social media platform X that Apple’s upcoming affordable smartphone could be called iPhone 16E. Aluminum frame can be given in this smartphone. In September last year, the company launched the iPhone 16 series. Apple’s A18 chipset can be used in the new smartphone. Apple Intelligence features can also be found in it. This smartphone may have a 6.1 inch OLED display.

Apple’s first 5G baseband chip can be given in this smartphone. Its design may be similar to iPhone. Apple Intelligence features can be provided in this smartphone. It may have options of 6 GB and 8 GB LPDDR5 RAM. The company has prepared to introduce features related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) to increase the sales of iPhone.
