Last month, a US District Court had issued summons to the Telugu Association of North America. In this summons, many documents like records of donation and distribution of amount have been sought. This investigation against Telugu Association of North America may be related to misuse of grants received under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The company has not given any statement in this regard.
Recently, Apple was accused of suppressing its workers and illegally monitoring them. In a legal case filed regarding this, it was said that such a privacy policy is implemented by the company which bans the workers from discussing the working conditions. This case was filed in the California court in America by Amar Bhakta, who works in the digital advertising division of the company. It claimed that Apple workers are forced to install software on their personal devices that allows the company to access their email, photo libraries and other personal information. Bhakta, who has worked at Apple for the past four years, said he was prevented from discussing his work on the podcast. Additionally, he was instructed to remove information about work conditions from his LinkedIn profile.
