Gurman says the iPhone 17 Air will include Apple’s first in-house modem, which will reportedly launch in the new iPhone SE in the spring. This iPhone is considered to be Apple’s slimmest phone till date which is two mm slimmer than the existing iPhone. This would suggest that it would mark a step towards foldable iPhones and iPads, which the company is reportedly planning to introduce in 2026 or later. Gurman also expects to launch other Apple products in 2025, including a smart home hub.
