While sharing the post, she wrote, ‘When I saw Rekha ji’s Sawan Bhadon, I was a girl living in a small town, who aspired to go to Bombay… but wanted to meet Rekha ji personally.’

Archana Puran Singh wrote, ‘After many years, I worked with Rekha ji in the film Battle, during the shooting of the film, she called me to her make-up room and told me how to apply make-up and false eyelashes. This was a trend which was started by Rekha ji in the Bollywood industry.

Archana Puran Singh further wrote, ‘It was like a dream come true when I worked with Rekha ji for the first time in the year 1989 in the film Battle. Rekha ji often talks about her mysterious man. I remember we were talking about this in Film City, and when I asked him who the mysterious man was, he replied, ‘You don’t know who he is?’
