Mumbai. In the latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode of ‘Bigg Boss 18’, an argument was seen between Salman Khan and fintech businessman Ashneer Grover. In this episode, Salman raised questions on the ‘double standards’ (double standards) of the co-founder and former managing director of BharatPe. Ashneer has also written a book with this name. Salman asked Ashneer in the show about the statements in which he had talked about the endorsement of his company to Salman. Salman called his statements wrong facts, to which Ashneer reacted.
Salman Khan asked Ashneer Grover in the show, “I have heard you speaking about me. You said, ‘We signed him for this much, signed him for this much,’ and all your figures were wrong. Then, what is this hypocrisy?” Let us tell you, in 2021, Ashneer Grover used the word ‘hypocrisy’ in ‘Shark Tank India’ and it became a trend.
Ashneer Grover LinkedIn Post.
In response to Salman Khan’s comments, Ashneer Grover has written a note in his LinkedIn post, in which he has given clarification on the comments and statements. He wrote, “I hope you enjoyed Bigg Boss Weekend Ka Vaar! I enjoyed it a lot. And I am sure that special episode would have got great TRP/viewership.”
Ashneer Grover further wrote, “By the way, all the facts given below are true:
- Salman is a great host and actor.
- Salman knows what work he does in Bigg Boss.
- I have always admired Salman for his self and business sense. Never said anything derogatory about Salman.
- My deal numbers are always correct (verified by bank/auditor).
- Met Salman in an exclusive meeting on the brand collab for 3 hours at JW Marriott Juhu in May 2019 – along with the director of the ad (it’s okay if he doesn’t remember me – I was not a popular person then – he was a very meet people).
- The invitation to appear as a guest on Bigg Boss was not ‘anonymous’ – just like Czech 😉
- And finally I have a picture with him – which I hadn’t taken before (without a manager).
Thanks Salman Khan. Keep rocking!”
