Actress Ashnoor Kaur’s film ‘Kisko Tha Pata’ is going to be released soon. This film has been directed by Ratna Sinha, wife of filmmaker Anubhav Sinha.
Ashnoor has previously worked as a supporting actor in Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Sanju’ and Taapsee Pannu’s ‘Manmarziyaan’. However, this will be his first film as a lead. Recently, during a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, the actress spoke openly about her shooting experience and fitness challenge.
Ashnoor told how his weight had increased during the shooting due to his injury. She was very conscious about her fitness. He said, ‘I had suffered a knee injury, so my fitness routine was stopped during the shooting. The next day a bike sequence was to be shot, which was not in the script, but I told the director that I know how to ride a bike and I can do it. That scene was specifically included. Then I couldn’t shoot the next day because I was in a lot of pain due to my injury. My fitness routine also stopped, so I had to be more cautious about my diet. If you watch the film, you might see my fluctuating physique. Sometimes it appeared overweight and sometimes normal. So, I was very conscious about my weight during the shooting.
When asked if he had to do any physical transformation for this character, Ashnoor said, ‘I didn’t get much time, I had to do it but couldn’t. We tried and did our best.
These days, Ashnoor is working in the daily soap ‘Suman Indori’. The actress also shared how she took a break from daily soaps to give priority to the promotion of this film and tried to balance both the tasks.
He said, ‘It is difficult because obviously, my duplicate is being shot in the show, body double is being used. People say you can’t do two things together or do one thing at a time, but I think no, you just have to balance it. You can do both the things, you just have to manage it and do both things well.
For the character Shreya in the film, Ashnoor said, ‘We had workshops. You have to work for your character before it comes on screen. I got very little time, to be honest, other people had been working on it for months. I got only one week, but Ratna ma’m’s guidance and direction helped me understand every vision. It was a long process, which we completed in a week and went on the floor.
