Saira Banu wrote in her long post- ‘Sahab (Dilip Kumar) was an all-time great actor. Everything was available to him, yet not many people know that he had severe insomnia. Before our marriage, even after taking medicine, he used to stay awake till morning.’
Saira Banu further wrote, “However, once we got married and it became difficult for us to live without each other, he started sleeping on time. He also gave me a cute nickname, lovingly saying, ‘Saira, you are my sleeping pill, you are my pillow.’ I still laugh remembering the love with which he used to say this.”
